I am 1 month old!!!

Happy 1 Month Day to me!

I celebrated by kicking the monkey on my activity mat . . . (!?!)

Dancing around the house with mom in my Baby Bjorn . . .

Cuddling with my stuffed dog . . .

. . . and finally riding in the car to visit Dr. D. I passed my 1 month check-up with flying colors. I now weigh 9 pounds, 1.5 ounces

A Few of My Daily Activities

It's hard to be a newborn! Sometimes I get pushed around the neighborhood in my stroller . . .
It's a nice way to take a nap.

Sometimes I play with Mr. Caterpillar . . .

Funny . . . his mirrored face looks like mine!

Sometimes I hang out with assorted furry friends . . .

They're nice to look at, but they certainly don't say much.

Sometimes I try and lift my head . . .

. . . with my Mom's encouragement. "Lift your head Lucas!" she cries, over and over. Geez. Give the guy a break!

These are just a few things that fill up my day :)

Father's Day 2008

I spent Father's Day this year with my Daddy and my Mommy and my Lolo and Lola and my Uncles Carlo and Carl and Auntie Archelle (she's taking the picture).

Check out my new outfit . . .

My Uncles and I were all wearing yellow!
Uncle Carlo looking scared again.

My First Bath

Here I am taking my first tub bath . . . It'll take some getting used to!
It was really nice to be clean, however. Even my fingers tasted better.

My Daily Exercise

Tummy Time!

Hmmm, what should I do today...
Maybe I'll go to the salon?

Good call!

Let's party...

The Abulencias

On my first few days at home, I finally got to meet my Filipino family.

Lolo and Lola (Filipino for Grandpa and Grandma)
Uncle Carl (not my most photogenic moment)
Auntie Young (she feeds me well)
Uncle Carlo (I think I scared him)
Auntie Archelle (don't I look cute?)

Home Sweet Home

On Day 5, I was finally free of the tanning bed (bilirubin box for jaundice) and allowed to leave the hospital and go home :)

Melloh Yellow

Sorry I've been away. On day 4 of life, while I was prepping for yet another photo shoot, I noticed a pale yellow hue to my skin. Was this too much cheap self tanner? I called my agent (nurse) for advice. She insisted I spend 2 days at the tanning salon (phototherapy for jaundice). Fortunately, I stopped by the agency (pediatrician) today and was complimented on my tan (full recovery from jaundice) and allowed to finish the shoot. Here are some highlights...
I'm not sure why my Dad gave me spock ears here...
